PPKN LECTURERS TEACHING IN THAILAND IN THE FRAMEWORK OF VISITING PROFESSORS AT THE THAI GLOBAL ADMINISTRATION TECHNOLOGY (TGBC)

In the framework of the MoU with various universities abroad, PPKn lecturers held visiting lecturers to teach at The Thai Global Administration Technology Thailand. The campus, which is often abbreviated as TGBC, is located at 99553 Moo 8, Srinakarin Road, Bang Muang Mai Subdistrict, Mueang Samut Prakan District, Samut Prakan Province 10270. This activity was held on February 12 2024, involving two universities and the Education Department. PPKn lecturers who teach at The Thai Global Administration Technology Thailand include Supr Hartanto, MPd, and Dr. Septian Aji Permana, MPd. Learning materials use English, and are attended by three majors.

The material presented by UPY PPKn Lecturer Supri Hartanto, MPd took the title Development of Android-based Learning Media With A Conversion System. This material focuses on the need to increase students’ abilities to create Android-based learning media for various scientific disciplines. Making Android programs places more emphasis on the conversion system by using programs that are simpler, but have more effectiveness in their interactions. The second material was delivered by

Dr. Septian Aji Permana, MPd who emphasized more on Indonesia Tourism. This material is presented to students in the field of Cultural Studies, in order to compare the tourism concepts of Indonesia and Thailand. Cultural differences provide distinctive characteristics that can be used as a strategy to increase government income while emphasizing the need for the involvement of the younger generation to be able to develop tourism. After learning, there is an in-depth discussion about the material interactively.

The Thai Global Administration Technology Thailand students felt happy to gain additional knowledge from various sources from other countries, to be able to compare scientific developments between countries. This collaboration between the two countries will be followed up by sending lecturers and students between The Thai Global Administration Technology Thailand and the PPKn FKIP Study Program, Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta. In another agreement, it is also planned to hold activities to improve the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely by conducting joint research between countries, sending Field Work Practices between countries, and holding community service. In order to increase cooperation even deeper, it is planned to also open a Thailand Corner in Indonesia, as well as increase the effectiveness of the existing Indonesia Corner in Thailand.
